Background

BF Goodrich Company was founded the USA in 1870, manufacturing a diverse range of products, including tyres. In 1917 it co-founded the Yokohama Rubber Company. BF Goodrich's tyre and rubber divisions were purchased by the giant French tyre manufacturer, Michelin in 1988.
